Setting focus after taking photograph?

For serious photographer, I'm sure you all know about how important to set focus while taking photo through digital camera. As I was reading forum, I've came across this news about new technology of photographing. This technology enables photographer to set their focus after the photo is taken. We knows that it consume lots of time for the digital camera to set the right focus before taking photograph. With this technology, you can simply "snap and go" then determine where you want to focus later on.

This kind of photograph is produced using special kind of digital camera which called as "plenoptic camera". This camera is devoloped by Ray Ng, who was a student from Stanford University.
